TRIATHLONS
A growing number of club members are trying their hand at triathlon. These challenging events combine swimming, cycling and running and are open to all ability levels.
There are a number of different triathlon distances (adult):
- Super sprint: 400m (swim), 10km (bike), 2.5km (run)
- Sprint: 750m (swim), 20km (bike), 5km (run)
- Standard (Olympic): 1500m (swim), 40km (bike), 10km (run)
- Half Ironman: 1.9km (swim), 90km (bike), 21km (run)
- Full Ironman: 3.8km (swim), 180km (bike), 42km (run)
